Family Portraits in cottage country make great keepsakes.
Check out our cottage portrait session with the Herring family this past summer at Beaver Lake, between Parry Sound and Sundridge, Ontario.
Janet and her husband have been coming to the area for years from their home in Ohio. They love the rugged, wild, feel and tranquility of the area. Janet told me they love being able to share their love of the area with others in their family and in particular their two young granddaughters.
We had a great session, but it got off to a bit of a rocky start when the youngest granddaughter decided that she didn’t want to be part of the pictures. Fortunately, I had some gummy worms in my bag; those, plus some gentle coaxing, and just a bit of goofiness on my part, quickly turned things around. When I had my gear packed and was ready to leave the wee one came over and gave me a great big hug goodbye. That made my day!
A few of the images from our session are below. You can get a hold of us through this link if you’d like to arrange a cottage portrait session for your family.
